Amman Beach, Dead Sea

Dead Sea is a salt lake bordering Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west.

Its surface and shores are 423 metres (1,388 ft) below sea level, the lowest elevation on the Earth's surface.  With 33.7% salinity, it is also one of the world's saltiest bodies of water.

This salinity makes for a harsh environment in which animals cannot flourish, hence its name.

Entrance fee was 15JD per adult which included the use of swimming pool,

showers and their changing rooms.

However, the showers/changing rooms were quite unsanitary.

If you are planning to spend a full day in the Dead Sea, pay an extra 10 JD

and go to O Beach or the Dead Sea Spa.

It is nearly impossible to sink in the hypersalinated waters.
